Climate and corrosion. Salt air, humidity, and afternoon thunderstorms are hard on equipment. If your lift lives in a carport, an open bay, or an unconditioned building anywhere near the coast — think Miami, Hollywood, Clearwater, Fort Myers — we’ll steer you toward galvanized or better-coated components, sealed power units, and a maintenance interval that includes wiping down and lubricating cables and slider blocks more often than a shop in a dry climate would. Humidity also means condensation in air lines, which matters for air-release lifts.

Permits and inspection. Requirements vary by county and municipality in Florida, and hurricane-driven building codes mean local officials are used to asking questions. We provide drawings, capacity documentation, and ALI certification paperwork so your permit package is clean.
