A 15,000-lb commercial-grade lift from Rotary or Challenger, fully installed with a one-year service, sits at the high $$$ tier. Everything in between is a mix of those five variables.
A hobbyist we spoke with recently had done all his homework already — he knew he wanted a 9,000-lb baseplate two-post, he had a specific budget in the low $$$ range, and he did not need install because he had a forklift and was going to bolt it down himself. A two-post lift ships on a pallet or two and weighs 1,800 to 3,500 pounds. Turnkey install adds roughly 10% to 20% on top of the base two post lift price depending on capacity and travel distance. That includes freight offload, mechanical assembly, anchoring (concrete drilling and epoxy or wedge anchors per manufacturer spec), hydraulic bleed, initial run-in, and an ANSI/ALI operational safety check. It also includes any adjustments needed to the cable equalization or hydraulic equalization system to get the two carriages moving in lockstep.
