Symmetric vs asymmetric — what a hobbyist actually needs

The half-shaft slides out of the transmission with a small pry bar behind the inner joint. Install is the reverse. Total time on a modern front-drive: 45 to 90 minutes per side, first attempt. Rookie mistakes we see (and how to avoid them)
