His collection is a rotating cast of six to eight vehicles ranging from a lightweight sports car to a full-size pickup he pulls the trailer with. A four-post would have parked things nicely, but he wanted the wheels off the ground so he could rotate tires, address alignment, and get under the vehicle for oil and inspection work without navigating around the runways. Not thickness alone, but the age of the pour, whether there is post-tension cable in it, and what the rebar layout looks like. We asked the collector to core-drill a test hole before we scheduled the truck. His pole barn slab was poured six years earlier at a nominal four inches with wire mesh but no rebar. We told him to book a cable inspection at the six-month mark regardless.
