A 4-post’s runways block half the underbody, and a mid-rise scissor only gets you head-high on a shorter vehicle. Neither works for cutting a rusted exhaust flange loose or measuring driveshaft phasing on a lifted three-quarter-ton.

Electricity, Compressed Air, and Hidden Operating Costs
