Faster is not always better — a lift that cycles in 20 seconds is under a lot more hydraulic pressure per cycle and wears seals faster.

Standard cycle time is engineered for duty cycle. Fast options are engineered for spec sheets. Dealerships that push cycle counts of 15 to 20 per day per lift will wear a fast-cycle scissor faster than a standard-cycle scissor over 20 years. Cumulative hours matter more than per-cycle time in a workflow this consistent.
