Symmetric lifts center the vehicle between the columns and work well for wide-stance trucks, vans, and anything without factory-defined front and rear weight bias. Either way, decide configuration before the concrete goes in if you can, since some asymmetric lifts have a slightly different footprint than symmetric models of the same capacity, and that affects where your anchor bolts land relative to your bay layout.

Sequencing the Actual Install Day
