Why This Builder Called Us Instead of DIY-ing It

We double-checked ceiling height, since his shop had roughly 14 feet to the lowest truss, which was enough clearance for full lift height plus a raised vehicle without arms hitting anything overhead. Columns went up first, plumbed and shimmed before a single anchor was torqued, because a column that’s even slightly out of level will bind the carriage and wear cables or chains faster than it should.

Once the columns were secure, we ran cables, set the safety locks, and cycled the lift empty several times to check for smooth travel before ever rolling a vehicle onto it. We tested the arms at multiple heights with his actual 4Runner to confirm clearance around the sliders and skid plate before calling the job finished.
