A stock sedan and a lifted 4×4 with 35-inch tires ask completely different things of a 2 post lift home garage install. Lift arm reach, overall rise, and ceiling clearance all get stretched thin once you’re dealing with a truck that already sits 4-6 inches taller than stock. We compared a Rotary SPO12 against a Challenger CL10, both asymmetric two-post designs rated in the 12,000-pound range, well above what a 3/4-ton truck with a bed full of overlanding gear actually weighs. The Rotary won out here mostly on arm reach and the aggressive lock height selection, which matters when you’re setting a lifted truck at just the right level for oil pan gasket work without straining to reach fittings.

Measure actual ceiling height, confirm concrete thickness, and think honestly about arm reach once lift kits, bumpers, and skid plates are factored in.
