We also talk through lighting and drain routing during the walkthrough, since gasket work means oil is going to hit the floor at some point. A floor drain or containment mat positioned under the lift saves a lot of cleanup headaches down the road. None of this is complicated, but it’s the kind of detail that separates a lift installed correctly from one that just barely works for the job it was bought to do.

Concrete and In-Floor Heat Considerations

A lot of fleet garages along the Iowa-Nebraska border have in-floor heat, and that changes the anchoring conversation. For most fleet applications we recommend a fixed install once the garage layout is settled, because fleet garages tend to run the same equipment in the same spot for years.
