The checklist here: ask for maintenance records, inspect hydraulic cylinders and hoses for wear or leaks, and check that the turret and slip plate components move freely without excessive play. A rack that’s been sitting outdoors or in an unheated shop for years is a bigger risk than one that’s been indoors and serviced regularly.
