Myth: You Can Order the Lift First and Figure Out Power Later

Two-post lifts need dedicated electrical circuits for the hydraulic power unit, and if your building wasn’t wired for it, you’re looking at an electrician visit before install day, not after. We’ve had shops receive a lift, schedule installation, and then discover the panel can’t support the draw — pushing the whole project back two or three weeks while they wait on an electrician.
