With 12-foot sidewalls, a two-post lift raising a vehicle to full height plus the vehicle’s own clearance usually fits with room to spare, but we always ask for exact wall height and any obstructions like lighting or ductwork before quoting. A four-post lift is worth considering if the primary goal is storage rather than service access, since it doesn’t require lifting points and is easier for less mechanically inclined owners to use safely.

Rotating tires on a car that’s been sitting for months is awkward with a floor jack and jack stands, especially on lowered classics or vehicles with limited ground clearance. Slab thickness, rebar or mesh reinforcement, and cure time all affect whether a floor can safely anchor a two-post lift without additional concrete work. Most 30×40 pole buildings poured to typical residential specs handle a mid-capacity two-post lift fine, but older slabs or thinner pours sometimes need a reinforced pad poured under the lift columns first.
