The Council Bluffs Building: What We Were Working With

The shop occupies a leased steel building on the east edge of town — two bays, a 14-foot overhead door, and a ceiling that measured 13 feet 4 inches to the bottom of the purlins. That single measurement drove half the decision. This shop does annual safety inspections as a steady revenue line, and inspections are exactly the kind of work that punishes a slow lift. A tech is up and down four or five times per vehicle — brakes, exhaust, steering components, tires, undercarriage rust. Cycle time is everything.
