For most independent garages, the honest answer is no. Three-phase service is expensive to bring into a rural or suburban building that doesn’t already have it, and the vast majority of car lift Atlas models sold to independent shops are engineered specifically for single-phase, so there’s no functional benefit unless you’re running other three-phase equipment like certain large air compressors or CNC machinery.
