There’s no in-ground anchoring the way a permanent lift requires, no need to core through concrete for anchor bolts, and no overhead structure to tie into. We checked floor flatness, confirmed clearance for full-height travel, and walked the mechanic through the locking height increments so he understood he wasn’t limited to only fully up or fully down positions.

That last point mattered more than he expected going in. Being able to lock the platform at a mid-height setting for CV axle work — instead of raising the vehicle to full height every time — saves real time across a busy week of half-shaft jobs, and it’s a detail that doesn’t show up on a spec sheet but shows up in how the lift actually gets used day to day.
