Most shops that work on long-wheelbase RVs default to a 4 post lift because it feels safer for something that long. This shop went a different direction. A 2 post hydraulic lift gives full underside access to the frame, axles, and transmission without a runway blocking the view or the wrench. For transmission service specifically, that open access under the vehicle is the whole point — you cannot drop a pan or pull a transmission efficiently when a runway beam is sitting exactly where you need to work.
