Daily Pre-Shift Checks Before Anyone Touches a Rotor

Wear Patterns Specific to Fleet and Municipal Use

Fleet lifts see a different wear profile than a typical independent repair shop because the vehicle mix and duty cycle are so consistent. A garage running mostly pickups and SUVs on plow duty puts repeated heavy asymmetric loads on the arms, since plow mounts and salt spreaders shift the center of gravity forward. Over time this accelerates wear specifically at the arm restraint pin and the sliding track where the arm rides, since that’s the load path taking the abuse.
