If your team has sponsor backing or a shop budget built around uptime, investing in a new heavy-duty commercial lift with fresh cylinders from day one removes the guesswork and gets you a warranty. Either way, budget determines almost every branch that follows, so be honest about it before you start comparing specs.

Set a schedule for fluid checks, seal inspection, and counterbalance valve function tests tied to your race calendar rather than a generic annual schedule — high-cycle use demands more frequent eyes on the equipment.
