Skipping this doesn’t just shorten fluid life — it accelerates wear on the exact components that are expensive to replace, like the pump and cylinder seals.
Iowa shops running high-volume operations, like tire shops or quick-lube bays, should be more aggressive about checking fluid condition since more cycles mean more heat and more contamination risk.
