Left alone, that lean gets worse because the load shifts unevenly onto pulleys and cable ends that weren’t designed to carry it. Leveling the Whole Platform, Not Just One Cable

A common mistake is adjusting one cable in isolation without checking how that change affects the rest of the platform. Four post lifts are a connected system — tightening one corner can pull tension away from an adjacent cable, especially on models with a synchronization cable linking the front and rear posts.
