Where your slab thickness allows anchoring dictates where the posts sit, and where the posts sit dictates how far the conduit run has to travel from the panel. A 2 post car lift ships in a few large crates, and getting them off the truck efficiently keeps the install on schedule. Most installs run one day for a straightforward asymmetric two post lift once the site is prepped, assuming the electrical circuit is already in place and the concrete has been checked for thickness and condition.
