Every quote we write starts with concrete. Automotive two post lifts need a slab of adequate thickness and cure time, and older buildings sometimes have patched or thin sections right where the columns need to land. We’ve had customers move a car in pieces after disassembling a used lift themselves, only to realize the original floor anchors were cut off and gone, which means new anchors and a fresh inspection of the slab before we mount anything. That’s a normal part of the process, not a dealbreaker, but it does add a step.

We also plan around building obstructions.
