One tech can be pulling a CV joint on lift one while another preps a replacement axle assembly at the bench, then rolls straight to lift two.

This layout costs more upfront in floor space and in equipment, obviously, since you’re buying two units instead of one. We size the runway the same way for each lift — plan on enough drive-on and drive-off clearance that a technician isn’t threading a truck sideways to get positioned on the ramps. Sizing the Right Model for Your Fleet’s Vehicles

Not every bendpak 4-post car lift is built the same, and fleet mix matters a lot here. A fleet running half-ton pickups and mid-size SUVs has different capacity and platform-length needs than one running one-ton duallies or extended vans.
