Pits vs lifts for quick service
Some quick-service operators consider a pit instead of a oil change lift. Pits move fast but are a permanent, costly build with their own safety and drainage rules; a scissor or mid-rise lift gives similar speed with far less commitment and the flexibility to reconfigure.
