The wider door swing lets a tech get in and out without climbing over a post, and when you’re doing volume rotor work all day, those small seconds saved on every vehicle add up over a shift.
The catch with asymmetric setups is that you have to commit to the offset before you set anchor bolts — you can’t rotate the lift 180 degrees later without redoing the concrete anchoring pattern in most cases.
