The grandfather had run cars up on drive-on ramps for decades. The grandson wanted something faster for the state inspection line that runs through their bay every spring. The third generation of this family-owned garage grew up watching their grandfather do state inspections on a creeper and a floor jack. That works when you’re doing three cars a week. It doesn’t work when inspection season hits and you’ve got a line of trucks and sedans waiting outside.
