Start With Budget: What a 4-Post Storage Lift Actually Costs to Own
Every decision tree starts with money, so that’s where we start too. A 4-post storage lift isn’t just the sticker price on the runway package — it’s delivery, install, concrete condition, and any accessories like rolling jacks or casters. Teams on a tighter budget often ask about used or entry-tier units, but we steer race teams toward new equipment with a documented cable and safety-lock system, because storage lifts holding a race car ten feet in the air for months at a time are not where you want to gamble on unknown wear history.
We’ve quoted teams anywhere from a bare-bones 8,000 lb unit for a light tow vehicle up to 10,000-13,000 lb configurations for a diesel tow rig with a trailer package stored nearby.
