The shop’s bays were tight, and their old lifts had arms set dead-center under the vehicle, which meant every RV chassis or dual-wheel trailer required awkward positioning just to clear the arms and get swing space for doors. An asymmetric lift shifts the columns and arm geometry so the front arms are shorter and angled outward while the rear arms are longer, opening up a walk-through path between the columns.
