BendPak’s home-and-light-commercial line comes in slightly under, and we install those regularly in home shops where the workload is real but not eight-hour-a-day commercial.

Where people trip is on comparison shopping. A rock-bottom two-post exists – you can find it – but it is not a lift we will install, service, or vouch for. The cables are unbranded, the safeties are stamped rather than machined, and the arms are lighter gauge than the load ratings imply. When someone tells us their budget is bargain-basement for a tire-work lift, we tell them honestly that the total cost of a proper setup with installation is going to be well above that, and that trying to short-cut it will cost more when the cable snaps or the restraint fails. Installation, Concrete Prep, and the Hidden Line Items

Installation of a two-post is not a weekend job for someone without lift experience.
