The site survey comes first, always

Before we quote a lift, we ask three questions: how thick is the slab, how tall is the ceiling, and how wide is the bay from wall to wall including the door swing. Everything else — arm style, capacity, brand — flows from those answers. We measure not just the raw wall-to-wall dimension but the door swing arc, because you’ll be opening driver and passenger doors on both sides of the raised vehicle to swap rotors, and those doors need to clear the columns.

Working envelope also includes vertical air movement and lighting.
