If you’re pouring new concrete specifically for a storage build-out, get the lift’s footprint and anchor pattern to your concrete contractor before the pour, not after. It’s a lot cheaper to place anchor bolts correctly the first time than to core-drill or reinforce a slab that’s already cured around the wrong layout.
Sequencing the Build for Seasonal Use Patterns
Seasonal storage has a different sequencing logic than a busy repair bay. Since the lift isn’t cycling constantly, you have more flexibility on when in the build-out it goes in, but you still want the floor, electrical, and door clearance finalized before the automatic car lift arrives.
