What we fix

Hydraulic leaks, worn cylinders, failed pump motors, blown solenoids, stretched or broken cables, bad locks, and control faults. If a lift is leaking, stuck, drifting down, or throwing safety locks, that is squarely our work.

automotive hoist repair from a hydraulics-first crew

Most lift downtime is hydraulic. Because that is our background, automotive hoist repair means a tech who diagnoses the power unit and cylinders correctly the first time – less time on the clock and a better shot at a one-visit fix.

Brands and parts

We service Rotary, Forward, Challenger, BendPak, Atlas, Mohawk, and more, and we source hydraulic and lift parts across brands so an older or off-brand lift is rarely a dead end.

Recent work

For example, we installed a HDS-18 lift for an Iowa shop for $56,891 (a real 2025 job).

Where we work

We are based in Iowa and support shops across the country. Some work we do on site regionally; for the rest of the U.S. we handle equipment, parts, and phone diagnosis, and we coordinate service calls where it makes sense. Call and we will tell you honestly what we can do for your location.

We would rather give you a straight answer than overpromise a truck roll that does not make sense. Tell us where you are and what you need.

Automotive Hoist Repair – FAQ

Can you get parts for an older lift?

Usually. We source hydraulic and lift parts across brands, so an older lift is rarely a dead end.

How fast can you get to a down lift?

We prioritize down lifts because a dead bay is lost revenue. Call us with the brand, model, and symptom and we will schedule the soonest service window we can.

My lift is leaking hydraulic fluid – can you fix it?

Yes. Hydraulic leaks – hoses, cylinders, fittings, and seals – are our most common repair. We find the source instead of just topping off fluid.

It won't go up (or won't come down). What's wrong?

Usually a cable, valve, or hydraulic holding problem. A lift that will not lower is often a stuck lock or a valve issue, both routine fixes for us.

Down a bay? Get automotive hoist repair on the schedule. Call 515-292-2599 with the brand and symptom and we will get you running.
