Myth: “If the lift still goes up, the cables are fine”
The most common misconception we hear is that cables only need attention when the lift stops working. In fact, cables can be seventy percent through their strand life and the lift still rises and lowers exactly the same. A qualified independent inspector who documents the anchor torque, cable condition, arm restraint operation, safety lock function, and hydraulic system integrity.
