Runtime Speed and Cycle Count for Race-Day Use

A shop doing six oil changes a day doesn’t think about cycle count. A race team doing eight to ten shock swaps in a single event weekend absolutely does. This is where hydraulic pump quality and cylinder sizing start to matter in the decision tree — a lift built for occasional commercial use might not hold up to the rapid up-down cycling a pit crew demands without more frequent maintenance. We steer race teams toward configurations with proven cylinder and pump components rated for higher duty cycles, because a slow lift or one that needs constant reseals costs you track time.
