The Rolling Jack Question and Lift Adjustment
The detail that tipped his decision was the rolling jack. A four-post without one is a storage device and an oil-change platform. With a pair of rolling jacks in the tray, it becomes a genuine service lift — you can get all four wheels off and do brakes, hubs, and suspension. Retrofitting a jack onto an older unit is possible but fussy, because the runway spacing and the jack rail profile have to match.
