Step One: Budget Sets the Configuration, Not the Other Way Around

Every decision tree for car lift parts starts with a number, and that number should come before you fall in love with a two-post versus a four-post argument. For a shop doing frequent wheel bearing work, load cycles add up quickly — lifts and lowers happen dozens of times a day, not the handful typical of a passenger-vehicle-only bay. That means inspection intervals should be tighter than the manufacturer’s minimum, and replacement parts should be ordered in sets rather than singly. Step Five: Power Units and Electrical Components
