- Capacity: 15,000 lbs
- Column height: 11′ 10″ front, 11′ 2 1/2″ rear
- Maximum wheelbase: 16′ 3″ on the E-length models (4015EAO/EFO), 18′ 6 1/2″ on the X-length models (4015XAO/XFO)
- Concrete requirement: 4″ minimum depth with steel reinforcement, 3500 psi, cured 28 days; floor level within 1/2″ side-to-side and 2 1/2″ front-to-rear; no anchor within 8″ of any crack, edge, or expansion joint
- Anchoring: 3/4″ carbide bit, holes drilled through the floor or 5″ minimum; torque anchors to 150 ft-lbs at install, re-torque to 80 ft-lbs monthly
- Air supply: clean, dry, lubricated air regulated to 90-120 psi through an FRL within 30 ft of the lift (air-operated lock release)
- Hydraulic oil: 3 gallons of clean 10wt anti-foam, anti-rust hydraulic oil or Dexron III ATF — no detergent oils
Install notes from the manual
Square the runways before anchoring: the rail-to-rail distance has to match front and rear, and the diagonal measurements from opposite runway tips must agree within 1/4″. Drill anchor holes using the base plates as templates and vacuum the dust out so the anchors hold. After shimming the front columns plumb, the manual has you loosen the anchors and add one shim under the two inside anchors to lean each column slightly outward, then torque to 150 ft-lbs. Raise the lift about a foot and confirm the cable lugs are seated firmly against the cylinder pull bar before going higher. The cylinder is self-bleeding — cycle the lift several times, then top off the reservoir; monthly, grease the front column tubes with Mobil SHC1500 and re-torque the anchors to 80 ft-lbs.
