- Ceiling height needed: 175″ (4445 mm) or 199″ (5055 mm) depending on height setting
- Speed of rise: about 75 seconds
- Electrical: 2HP single phase 50/60Hz, 208-230V; three-phase power unit factory-wired for 240V
- Concrete requirement: 4″ minimum depth with steel reinforcement, 3500 psi, cured 28 days; floor level within 3/8″ over the install area; no anchor within 8″ of a crack, edge, or expansion joint
- Anchoring: 3/4″ carbide bit, holes through the floor or 5″ minimum; shim no more than 1/2″ at any point; torque to 150 ft-lbs at install, 80 ft-lbs monthly
Install notes from the manual
Chalk the column layout lines at the Overall Width dimension within 1/8″ tolerance and plumb the columns with a level at least 24″ long — never stacking more than 1/2″ of shims at any point. To rope the synchronizer cables you disassemble the cable trapping rods at the upper beam sheaves and remove the bottom column sheaves, then reassemble once the cable is seated. Bleed the hydraulics idler side first: crack the bleed plug on top of the cylinder, repeat on the power side, raise 6 inches, and repeat until no air escapes. Wipe the cylinder rods after the first full-rise cycles — the shipping lubricant pushed out through the wiper looks like a leak if you leave it. Monthly, re-torque the anchors to 80 ft-lbs and grease all four carriage slide-track corners on both columns.
