In this collector’s case, sequencing it correctly meant the forward lift went from delivery truck to fully operational in about a week, rather than the drawn-out timeline we’ve seen when infrastructure gets treated as an afterthought.
Choosing Configuration for Multiple Stored Vehicles

Our crew still ran the full process: verifying the anchoring pattern against the reinforced slab section, setting columns plumb, running and testing the electrical connection, and calibrating the lift through a full range of motion before ever putting a vehicle on it. For a collector, we take extra time walking through operation basics, since this might be the first lift he’s ever owned versus a shop tech who’s operated equipment for years.
We also spent time on safety basics specific to his situation — locking mechanisms, load limits relative to his heaviest stored vehicle, and how to position vehicles for transmission service specifically, since that work requires full underside access and different clearance than a simple oil change.
