Alignment lifts run taller than most people expect once you add the vehicle height, the rack’s own frame, and any rooftop antenna or ladder rack the customer’s vehicle might have. A full-rise four post alignment lift can put a raised pickup or van close to twelve feet in the air, and that number climbs further if you’re using drive-on ramps designed for lifted trucks. Before you finalize a purchase, measure from the finished floor to the lowest overhead obstruction directly above the lift’s footprint — not just the ceiling, but HVAC ductwork, sprinkler heads, and lighting fixtures too.

Most units run on 220-volt single phase, though heavier-duty models and some import brands spec three phase, so you need to confirm voltage and amperage before your electrician quotes the job — not after.
