Casters are optional, hydraulic power units are single-phase, and the manufacturer’s warranty is limited. Budget Tier Three: Full Commercial

Differential Fluid Service and Why It Changed the Lift Choice
A differential fluid change is done from underneath — you crack the fill plug first (crucial), then the drain, catch the old fluid, and pump the new fluid up through the fill hole. On jack stands, that job is slow and awkward because you cannot get a clean fluid-catcher basin under the diff without a lot of shuffling. On a two-post, the whole underside is open and the diff is at chest height — the pump goes up, the wrench swings freely, and a 45-minute job turns into 20. On a four-post, the runways get in the way of the diff on some vehicles, and you end up rolling the vehicle back to reach different angles. For the restoration owner doing this work regularly, that reality pushed the recommendation to a two-post. If most of the work you do is topside — engine, wiring, upholstery — a four-post fits fine.
