  8. Install the crossbeam sheaves and spacers. Confirm each cable is fully seated in every sheave.
  9. Attach the equalizer cables to the columns. Install the sheave-pin retention bolts.
  10. Tighten the nut and jam nut at the cylinder end. Tighten the cables so at least 2 threads show above the nut at each column.
  11. Adjust the locks: raise the lift, listen for all four locks clicking together, and tighten any that did not click until they do — then turn them another 1.5 turns. Cycle up another set of locks and verify no lock stops between clicks.
