A two-post lift transfers thousands of pounds of dynamic load through four to six anchor bolts on each base plate. Every time a vehicle drives on, gets raised, and gets lowered, that load shifts and flexes the concrete slab underneath. That micro-movement enlarges the hole in the concrete, and over months the anchor loses its grip entirely. Signs Your Anchor Bolts Have Loosened Over Time

Concrete creeps, vibration happens, and even a correctly torqued anchor bolt can lose tension after years of use. We tell every customer to visually check their anchor bolts at least once a year, and to physically re-check torque any time they notice a hairline crack radiating from a base plate, a faint clicking sound during raise or lower cycles, or visible daylight between the base plate and the slab.
