Periodically remove built-up grime from the rail track with a shop rag and light solvent, then relube per the manufacturer’s spec. Check the locking mechanism that holds arm length in place under load; a slipping length-lock can let an arm creep during a lift cycle, throwing the vehicle’s weight distribution off balance.
