Manufacturers publish a minimum and maximum reach for front and rear arms, and those two numbers matter more than almost anything else when you’re deciding if a lift fits your shop’s vehicle mix. Short arm reach determines whether you can pick up compact cars and low sedans without the arm swinging into the tire or wheel well.
