Spacing Rules That Actually Hold Up
Manufacturers publish minimum clearances, but minimum is not the same as comfortable. Door swing on the vehicle, arm swing on the lift, and space for a rolling toolbox all need to coexist without a tech squeezing sideways to get in.

Mixing Lift Types in One Building
Very few shops run a single lift style.
