What Installation Day Looked Like

Once the decision was made, the install itself was straightforward — we confirmed slab thickness and ceiling height ahead of time, since this shop’s building had adequate clearance for the taller lifted vehicles they service. We set column spacing to accommodate wider overlanding rigs with aftermarket bumpers and winches, and configured the arms with adapters sized for common lifted-truck frame contact points rather than a generic passenger car setup.

The whole job, from final site confirmation to a lift ready for daily oil changes, took about a week including cure time on new anchor points. The shop’s techs were running fluid service on lifted trucks within days, with a lift rated correctly for their actual vehicle mix instead of a marginal used unit they’d have been babying through daily cycles. That’s really the bottom line of this case study: for a shop with genuine daily-use volume, a new rotary lift 12 000 lb purchase paid for its price difference in reliability alone, long before you even factor in the arm geometry that made it the right tool for lifted-vehicle work in the first place.
