Myth one: EV weight automatically voids the warranty
The most common thing we hear from EV shop owners in Dubuque is that they have been told by another dealer that any modern battery-electric vehicle voids a scissor lift for automotive warranty because EVs are quote too heavy. That is not how the warranty language actually reads. Rotary and Challenger scissors are rated by capacity, not by drivetrain.
