That’s not a cosmetic issue, it’s a load-bearing safety issue, and it’s far cheaper to core-drill test the slab before installation than to discover a problem after a truck is fifty inches off the ground.

Planning these runs before the walls are closed up saves you from surface-mounted conduit running across a bay where a service technician needs to walk freely.
